Linksys CM3024

The Linksys CM3024 Cable Modem puts you in charge of the Internet that you pay for up to 300 Mbps from current ISP plans. You delete monthly rental modem costs, compatible with major cable providers. It is equipped with 24 downloads and 8 upload channels for secure, fast multimedia streaming access, online gaming.



DOCSIS 3.0-certified, simple plug and play configuration is included.

It is not compatible with the New Extender Setup.

The Linksys CM3024 has three inputs:

POWER – Supply access to the Modem by linking the power adapter to this connection.
ETH – Attach an Ethernet cable to your device or router from this connection.
CABLE – Develop a connection with the RF F-Type coaxial cable from the wall jack to the Modem for an active cable signal.


Device Requirments

• Linksys CM3024 needs an access network account. If you do not have an established cable subscription,
please contact your nearest cable company to sign up for broadband Internet service.
• The modem does not operate with the DSL operation.


Accessing the configuration interface of Linksys CM3024
To link to the web interface of your router, follow the following steps:

  • Switch the router on
  • Create a connection between the computer and the router using a network cable or Wi-Fi
  • Enable your web browser
  • Enter the IP address in the address bar and confirm with the ‘Enter’ key.
  • Enter the username and password in the open interface and check it again.

Position the Modem as close as possible to the center of your building. The first advantage is that all rooms in your home have the same access to the Internet. The second advantage is that you don’t want your wireless signal range to extend too far beyond your home, where it can be easily detected by cybercriminals.

Reset Linksys CM3024 router to factory default

To reset the modem to its default settings, the following steps must be taken:

  1. Switch the router on
  2. Click the Factory Reset button and hold down for at least 15 seconds.
  3. The device will automatically restart

When the power light stops flashing, the device has been reset and is ready for use.
